Job Estimator At GRD Minproc Perth Australia

GRD Minproc is a leading independent engineering construction business providing high value services and specializing in the design, procurement and construction of mineral resource projects. Its focus is on delivering resource processing solutions worldwide from its head office in Perth, Australia and its regional growth hubs in Brisbane, Australia; Johannesburg, South Africa; Belo Horizonte, Brazil; and Santiago, Chile.

The position reports to the Manager of Estimating and is based in AMP Bulding Perth CBD with some interstate and international travel required. You will be responsible for the delivery of project capital cost estimates, and mining and mineral processing projects through various phases.

Essential skills/experience;
• Engineering degree (Mechanical or Civil)
• 5 years engineering or construction industry experience
• Skills in structural, mechanical and piping (SMP) estimating
• Sound computer skills in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Desirable skills/experience;
• Good estimating background within heavy industry
• Mining/metals industry experience
• Multi-discipline exposure in an EPCM environment

Experienced construction supervisors, project engineers, and quantity surveyors looking for a career change will be considered.
