System Admin
UNIX/Linux server and network administration, user account management, security patches, TCP/IP
Qualifications :
* Maintain, monitor, and tune Unix/Linux/Network environment
* Install IT hardware when required and perform minor repairs as needed
* Manage organization, storage, retrieval, security, and integrity of data on Unix/Linux/Network servers and clients
* Install, configure, and maintain Unix/Linux/Network environment operating system and commercial off the shelf (COTS) software to current versions and security levels
* Configure and maintain Unix/Linux/Network accounts and access rights and permissions
* Perform Unix/Linux server backups and restores
* Complete standard operating procedure documentation for all administrative tasks
* Maintain software and hardware inventory for all components within the Unix/Linux/Network environment
* Identify, document, track, control, and audit configuration items and baselines within the Unix/Linux/Network environment
* Analyze and plan for changes in data capacity and performance requirements; evaluate hardware, software, and new technologies for applicability; identify process
* improvements; provide budget projections and time line for implementing recommended changes; oversee implementation to operational status
* Provide Unix/Linux/Network support service to users
Experience :
* A minimum of 2 years professional working experience with UNIX/Linux servers and providing network administration is required.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Information Systems is required.
Skills :
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Must be organized and detail-oriented.
* Must have a team player attitude.
* Ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional manner.
* Any training or certificate on Red hat Appreciate.
* Good script programming skills (shell script, perl) required.
* Familiar with LAMP admin and knowledge in JAVA
